Ukraine against Russia

As a future marine I feel more compelled to learn about and understand what's going on into todays world. One of the biggest things happening right now is Ukraine verse Russia. Russia invaded the Ukraine a few weeks ago and succeeded. since then there have been firefights with rebel forces near the border of Kramatorsk.  just days ago the small rebel fleets have made a push and gained control of a few local stores and a TV station that was switched from a Russian station back to Ukraine. this attack was not a peaceful act at all considering there were 46 causalities  from street fights. most of those deaths came from Russian militia when they retreated into a trade union building that was set on fire. its not clear who set the building  on fire but Ukraine residents showed little mercy by watching the building burn with Russians inside. this incident is one of the darkest days in a long time for Russia and its people. Its events like this that made me join the marines. As times get more and more testy and this day and age becomes more and more daring, I want to be ready as a US marine to answer to the cry for help. It may be sitting at a base waiting or it may be traveling to Russia to protect the Ukraine. one thing for sure though I will be ready no matte what.

The U.S. is lucky to have such a dedicated future marine like you. It's takes a lot of courage and it sounds to me like you have what it takes.

It's good to find people willing to fight for this fine country, I would never be quite willing to do it myself. So glad you have the passion to fight in any war, it is extremely brave.
